  • Muscle testing is a form of applied kinesiology. This non-invasive testing style utilizes the intelligence of the nervous system and neurological reflexes to determine which organs, glands, or areas of the body are under stress and need attention. When we understand what areas need support, we then identify the cause of the stress, and develop a program that is unique to each individual.

Wellness is restored as we handle the cause of non-optimum health by removing what does not belong with supplemental support, functional nutrition, and lifestyle guidance.

Functional Nutrition Guidance

On the journey to optimum health, what we consume is incredibly important. The foundation of balanced wellness is comprised of cells that are fed for optimum physiological function by a person who nourishes their body from a place of mindfulness and gratitude.

Functional Nutrition considers the whole-person when it comes to discussions of food and goes far beyond the “eat this, not that” mentality. How you feel about your health, and what you’re eating, are vitally important on the path to wellness.

Through a functional lens, we will assess how food can help address the root cause of ill health, and land on recommendations that take into account your environment, genetics, lifestyle, stress levels, preferences, and physiology. Nutritional advice is given with the full understanding of your past and present health, and the wellness you are moving toward.

Developing a loving relationship with yourself, and with food, is possible. There is no judgement from me as we make adjustments and adaptations over time to blend your health intentions with your day to day reality. This process is about creating the stable foundation for your wellness and joy.

A true gift from viewing nutrition and wellness through a functional lens is the restoration of your ability to hear guidance from your body. During our time together, we will explore nourishment for your body and your mind, allowing you to reach empowered wellness.

The Process

  • A thorough, in-depth functional assessment, including:

    • Comprehensive intake forms, including nutritional and lifestyle analysis

    • Detailed health history and consultation about your current and past physiological (biochemical), psychological (emotional), and physical health

    • Muscle testing body scan (using Nutrition Response Testing) to identify organs and tissues under stress, and assess the accumulation of irritants leading to impaired function and symptoms.

    This process allows the identification of the patterns and underlying causes of non-optimum health.

    Stressors include heavy metals, toxic & environmental chemicals, food sensitivities, immune challenges, scar tissue, states of malnutrition, and nervous system stress.

  • Based on your intake, you’ll receive a personalized holistic health improvement plan that blends evidence based Functional Nutritional Guidance, lifestyle support, and energetic wellness.

    We’ll utilize personalized & mindful supplementation and lifestyle tools to aid the body in removing interfering factors and stressors, and promote nourishment through nutritional guidance and supplementation designed to allow the body to return to balance, harmony, and wellness.

    Each wellness journey is unique, and varies in length. As the body heals, your support program will adjust to match new levels of wellness. You’ll feel better and become more in-tune with your body and being.

  • While this process begins with a higher degree of support, my intention is for each person to reach a state of wellness that comes with a lighter level of guidance.

    We will continue to emphasize nourishment, use supportive tools, and celebrate health, balance and joy. Check-ins may go from monthly to quarterly with the intention of keeping you at your desired level of wellness, and preventing the accumulation of stressors.

    This is the time to embody and embrace the habits that helped you heal, feel well, and live well.
